Bridget found this unique hand-made item, most likely a piece of folk art
It's a large and quite heavy carriage, lovely to use to display with an antique doll collection or as an eye-catcher in your interior.
The carriage is quite detailed as can be seen in the attached pictures. it took many hours of unique French craftsmanship to create this fabulous piece.
This particular piece came together with the Palais Royale carriage from a French collector which is also listed in my shop
The doll in some pictures is not included in this sale, just for decoration
this carriage is a one of a kind item from 1940/'50s
