Vintage Bruno Schmidt Bisque Doll Glass Eyes 16 Inches Tall Jointed Body Germany

Description

You are bidding on a vintage Bruno Schmidt doll made in Germany of bisque from the 1898-1930 date range.  She has a lovely face with intact face paint and lovely blue glass eyes.  She is marked appropriately on the back of her head with a BSW inside a heart and Made in Germany inscribed.  Her wig either needs to be cleaned or replaced.  She is on a jointed body that has alot of issues.  Not sure if the body can be saved or not but it has many issues.  I've tried to show pictures of everything I see.  Starting in the neck area there is some crumbling of the material around the neck and spider cracks down from that.  There is a shoulder seam which is separated.  She has a large crack on her middle belly area.  Her lower leg on the right side is cracked in the front and back.  She also has a crack running down the upper part of her right leg in the back.  Her joints are all loose and if you are salvaging the body she will need to be restrung.  Her fingers are intact.  Her big toe on one foot is broken off.  She comes with the clothes pictured as I found her along with the Kaiser stand.  She stands 16 inches tall.  She will be shipped via Priority Mail with secure packaging and insurance.
