    offered is a fabulous and rare art deco 1932 marathon enamel cigarette case. the marathon features wonderful art deco engine turned diagonal design on front with black lacquer enamel on back. the case is marked marathon on the clip and was made circa 1931-1932.  the case measures about 3" tall x 4" wide and is in very good used condition. the case is large enough to hold business cards. if you collect unusual vintage art deco cases - do not miss this item. this 2 color lacquer enamel finish is quite rare and very showy. overall - an important art deco 1930's marathon cigarette case for the best of collections.
