Old Micro Mosaic & Brass Sabre Sword Letter Opener - Souvenir of Italy

Approx. 8" long, this brass sword letter opener has wonderful micro mosaic detailing inset into the handle. It is in very good condition and missing only 2-3 tiny pieces of shell, which is not obvious. There is a light bend about 1/2" down from the tip of the blade, but no creasing of the metal. Likely it could be carefully flattened. An unusual mosaic item. The word 'souvenir' is inscribed on the blade on one side. There is a round shading where a label may have been. Guaranteed that is said 'Italy'. Vintage! Good luck!
