Hydro EV exchangeable volume liquid sample dispersion unit, for use with standard 600ml or 1000ml laboratory beakers. Designed for applications where the measurement of larger sample volumes is possible, or where very polydisperse materials need to be characterised. The high chemical compatibility of the unit ensures a wide range of dispersants can be used, providing a broad scope of application.
Direct software control of variable power in-line sonication (Nominal:
40W at 40kHz), sample pumping/stirring (max flow rate 1.7l/min) is provided. Full automation of sample dispersion is possible using software-based SOPs.
Flow path is constructed of 316 stainless steel, borosilicate glass, PTFE, PEEK, FEP, Tygon tubing.
Requires, but does not include, a wet measurement cell such as MAZ2010 or MAZ2020. Chemical compatibility code A as standard. Maximum
measurable particle size is 2100 microns (sample dependant) when used with the Mastersizer 3000.
