Oba king holding a scepter and accompanied by 2 servants.

This bronze Plaque is of high quality and was made with the “cire perdue technique”, and is therefore unique in its kind. Beautifully finished off in detail, it has a wonderful green patina.
Almost all Benin art was created to honor the king , or Oba, who has reigned, with his ancestors, from the 15th century. Each is sculpted by hand, then cast in bronze.
Good condition, but with signs of use and normal holes of cast glitches. Please study the photos well.
