In HORDES, monstrous beasts set upon one another in a bloody clash of tooth and fang that churns the battlefield into a seething sea of carnage.  Brought to righteous wrath by intruding wars of man or their own thirst for conquest, their masters feed upon pain and rage, forging primal energy into a weapon to wield against their enemies.  Ash, desolation, and the smoking ruin of once proud civilizations are all that remain in their wake.
While the Legion as a whole is only a few years old, the core of this tremendously dangerous organization is the dragon Everblight, an ancient creature born from the lifestone of Lord Toruk, the Dragonfather. Everblight has long considered himself the cleverest and most inventive of the dragons spawned by Toruk thousands of years ago. He has existed aloof from his peers, hatching plans in secret and demonstrating a unique control over his own blight.
Flocks of scavengers called rotwings follow the bloody trail of the blighted ogrun, subsisting on the carnage they leave behind. Rotwings ingest large amounts of blighted flesh from fallen dragonspawn and ogrun, causing the birds themselves to become blighted. Their powerful beaks easily rip flesh and muscle from carcasses and can crack open skull and bones to reach brain matter and marrow.
