Features
T6-100
FieldSense technology for AC voltage, current and frequency measures voltage without making electrical contact to live voltage*
Measure voltage and current simultaneously
Measure in tight spaces by not needing to use test leads
Save time by taking measurements without needing to remove covers and wire nuts
Make measurements with one hand, reducing risk
Simultaneous voltage and current display shows all power supply measurements at glance for efficient troubleshooting
1 to 1000V AC or DC
0.1 to 200A AC
Resistance 1 ? to 100 k?
Frequency measurement 45 Hz to 66 Hz
Works with wires up to AWG 4/0 (120 mm2) with a 17.8 mm jaw opening
HOLD button temporarily freezes reading for easy viewing
Easy to read display with backlight
Accepts optional Fluke TPAK Magnetic Meter Hanger for convenient operation
Measures on wires up to AWG 4/0 (120 mm2), carrying as much as 200A
*FieldSense does NOT perform DC measurements; used attached probes to measure DC voltage
PRV240FS
Output voltage: 240V ACrms or DC, ± 10 % ? 1 M?
Provides safe method to verify electrical test tool is operating properly before conducting live tests
Reduces need for personal protective equipment (PPE) when known voltage source is not available for verification (PPE is still needed for absence of voltage testing when appropriate)
Sources both AC and DC steady-state voltage
Supplies 240V DC/AC
Description
The Fluke T61000 Electrical Tester with FieldSense Technology, 1000V lets you measure voltage the same way that you measure current, without test lead contact to live voltage. Just slide the open jaw over a conductor and see the voltage level. Much more than just a voltage detector, these new testers give you a reliable voltage and current measurement, without test leads and without contacting a bare, metal conductor.
The T6-1000 allows electricians to test where it used to be impossible. Instead of pulling wire nuts, just slide the open jaw over a single conductor. This is much faster and safer than working to find a metallic contact point. Plus, voltage and current measurements can be made at the same time.
The T6-1000 measures and displays both voltage and current simply by sliding the open jaw over the conductor.
Not having to probe live conductors also makes jobs safer. Since there is no need to make electrical contact, the chance of human contact with an energized wire is greatly reduced. This also reduces the chance of making contact with the wrong conductor, which can produce unexpected results.
The Fluke PRV240FS Proving Unit with FieldSense Technology provides a fast, safe and reliable sourcing method to verify that your electrical test tool is operating properly before you conduct any live tests - all without having to make electrical contact. The concept of "Test Before Touch" (TBT) involves testing your test tool against a known live source before and after the actual measurement. This sequence verifies that your test tool is operating properly during the actual measurement.
