    DESCRIPTION:
I SELL ONLY WITHIN THE U.S.  NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING OFFERED.
I’m offering today an adorable antique bisque doll which is Googly style with beautiful molded hair with bow on top.  This sweet little one has molded hair with jointed arms for posing in different positions.  I purchased many of these little dolls when I first started collecting dolls which would have been in the early 80's.  So, I've had her a good 45 plus years.
I will start at the top of the doll and work my way down so as not to omit anything in my description.  Starting at the top of her head, she has light brown molded hair which has minimal paint loss.  Sitting in the center of her molded hair is a large painted powder pink hair bow which matches her adorable dress I chose for her to wear.   As you go down to her face, she has single brown line for eyebrows.  She has hand painted eyes with intricate detailing.
She has a dainty little nose with open nostrils for realism which flows down to her rose bud shape lips. Her lips are painted bright peachy/reddish color.
Her head, body and arms are bisque.  She has jointed arms which have been restrung so she can be posed.  Her head and body are one unit with flat bottom for standing in your doll cabinet.  Her back is hallmarked:  "Made in Japan".
Now to her adorable dress I chose for her debut.  This is a designer dress which is powder pink in color.  The dress flows around her body with lots of fullness.  Around her neck she has a sheer collar with lots of fullness.  In the center of the collar is a lovely pink satin rosette.  The sleeves on the dress are long sleeve which have powder pink satin ribbon tied into bows.  The ribbon keeps the sleeves from moving down over her tiny little hands.  As you go around to the back side of the dress, there is a metal snap and hook for keeping the dress securely on the little dolly's body.  The dress is gathered full with a sheer powder pink overlay with embroidered hem.  Under the sheer overlay is powder pink satin liner.  This dress looks adorable on this little one which allows her beautiful face with powder pink hair bow to be the focal point on the doll.
She has been in my collection for many years and over the course of years I clean my dolls and try to avoid them from ageing by doing so.  They are not played with by children who come and visit; I know that sounds mean, but sometimes they play too rough.  My dolls are kept in a doll room specifically for them and are displayed for everyone to enjoy.
All my dolls are truly loved and cared for as though they were my children.  Their clothes are either original to the doll, made by me, I've tried finding doll clothing from the same era as the doll or find clothing which match the personality of the doll.  We do not smoke and I try very hard to keep a tidy clean home free of dust and odor.  My dolls are clean and most of the time look as though they did when they were sold new.   Depending on how old they are, I do try to be honest in detailing if some of the dolls have bruises, missing toes or fingers or other issues, but that doesn't mean they aren't worth having; for each one is like children.....they are all beautiful in their mothers eyes.  If I've missed something it would never be intentional.
    SIZE:
