This traditional weapon of the Male Gogo Tribe members was used for hunting as well as protection against the herds that they maintained. The bows were a coming of age statues symbol for boys initiation into manhood. Each man would make is own Bow, and then pass it down to the son. The Gogo tribe is dominated by the male line.
